ASALAMU ALIKUEM
IS IT RIGHT TO SAY I am agree?
well, it is completely wrong to say I am agree.
because agree is a main verb so it does need a helping verb before it(am,is, are, were, was, has, have).
We need helping verbs in sentences that do not have
any main verb I am happy. we used am here because happy is not a verb but an adjective.
a lot of people make this mistake and it is one of the most common mistakes in English language.
it is wrong to say: I am agree with you
It is right to say: I agree with you
I just wanted to point that out because I noticed that
some members make this mistake
REMEMBER: all English sentences need verbs either a main verb or helping verb
for example you cannot say:
I saleh, the right thing is to say I am saleh
am here is the verb in the sentence I am Saleh
That is all for now.......................................Salam
