A Tale of Two Pictures
[CENTER]There once was a king
Who was known to be wise
He wanted to teach his people some things
So he told them “I will offer a prize”
No matter how big or small in size
To the one who would paint a piece
Of picture about PEACE

Many tried and a lot
Of pictures the king did see
But there were only two
The king said they were “the
Favorite to me”

The first one was sure that the heart it would break
It was of a very calm lake
Which worked as a mirror as perfect as great
For the peaceful towering mountains that reached the sky
A sky so blue
With the fluffiest white clouds that ever met the eye
All who saw it said “WOW”
This is really the piece for PEACE

The other one did have the mountains, alright
But they had a rugged, bare and fearful sight
The angry sky was only so bright
Coz thunder and lightning had given it a fright
Down the side of the mountain, tumbled a foaming waterfall
This did not look peaceful at all …
But as the king looked closely behind the waterfall
He saw the strangest scene of all
A tiny bush was growing in a crack
Just in a place were no one would look back
Right in the midst of the angry waters bests
A mother bird had built her nest
And laid with all her eggs to rest.

The king and I chose number two
Coz PEACE does not mean to be in a place,
Were no noise, trouble or hard work take place
PEACE means to be in the midst of place were these take
But still be calm in your heart exactly like the very first LAKE.
